Happy 4th Kiddos!
I fell asleep at the beach and my whole backside burned. I think between the two of us, Mickey and I have used 2 whole bottles of Aloe. owwwy! It itches, which makes it worse, coz I itch it and then complain that it hurts where I was itching!
I was just on my roof and for those of you who have been up there know, you can see all down the south bay and I got the view of something like 10-12 different fireworks shows!!
I have been pushing away at my budget, and I should get back to it!
One piece of good news. I drove over a nail last night. It punctured the tire so I removed it and I got some fix a flat in the tire. First thing this morning Mickey took me to his tire place (mine is kinda far from his place and we wren;t sure how well the fix a flat would work., esp after we sprayed more on ourselves than into the tire!) then I got the tire patched. One might ask, why is that good news? And I would reply that it was the first time I have had an issue with my car that I didn't go running to Jim for help on. Mickey isn't a macanic (his Pa is, tho!) , but his help was nice..but with Jim it was usually him taking my car for a day, leaving me with one of his and then he'd fix it and return it. So I learned that I don;t NEED Jim the way he tried to make me. Sure, I got really sad when it happened...the reality that Jim wasn't there to swoop in and save me. But I dealt with it and problem is solved! And I got to spend the night with someone who loves and appreciates me as opposed to Jim. So I get a gold star for the day!
I am going to be SO Slammed at work tomorrow!!!
