Murphy's Law?
I got a super duper paycheck today, due to a bunch of different complicated issues (reimbursement from crappy paycheck from old firm, no insurance premium deducted, raise, etc.) - but the point is, I got a super duper paycheck.
However.
I then got a quote for one month's worth of Cobra insurance coverage from my old job - which is only $300 less than my super duper paycheck.
I'll get reimbursed from the new firm for this massive expenditure, but still - WOW. Thank goodness for savings.
