(no subject)
I only have my husband, and one other person to shop for and I am going to wait until we are in Florida to make those final purchases. I will probably be going in late, or staying after hours to get the the calendars my family so adores put together before we leave on the 15th.
If I can get it together over the weekend I will be sending Lela to school the morning before we leave town, and will be working for a couple hours to get Costco items ordered and labels printed. Chances are good if I get in that last minute ordering no one will have to order the following week since Boomerang will be closed at least a couple days of it anyway. It will be a little less head ache while I am gone I hope.
I am really excited about my gift giving this year. I have 17+ people on my list and I wanted to make sure I got them something they would appreciate. My brother wants consumables, my in-laws need some new house wares, I found a set of really nice soup crocks for my mother, hopefully Kimi will have time to do a business card for my father, I even picked up something for all of the Coles who live on Maxwelton, and for one who doesn't.
I have not seen my brother, his wife, or any of my grandparents since June of 2008. I really hate that its been so long. Having two kids and money issues will put a damper on travel. I am just glad that my parents have been able to come up a couple times, and that the kids know who they are.
Dan told me the other night he would buy me a new front door for Christmas. I am so excited. Its the next best gift to getting the hallway flooring fixed, which will be done by the summer one way or another.
Things are shaping up to be pretty good. I just have to survive a really long plane trip with two small children first.
