Tonight I went to this house party in Kalamazoo, and an impromptu drum circle/jam session broke out. It felt good to let my mind flow with the beat and this chant came to me spontaneously, in pieces:

endless dance of sand and sea

I don't know how notate rhythm in chants (is there a way?) so you can't tell from this but, trust me, the beat is awesome.
I need to listen to live music more often, or go to more drum circles. Want to come with me?
