Havent updated for a few days but things are finally coming to an end for school! Today I had my p.e final..which was run 12 laps around the track under fourty minutes. I did accomplish it but unfortunatly I brought sweat pants so the run was extremly warm..and thats putting it lightly. I took a shower in the locker room and my clothes got wet so I went home for second period. I back during lunch and then went to the a nursing home for hospice training. This lady with alzheimers (sp?) was staring at me for what seemed to be the longest time and she had such a huuuge smile on her face. I couldnt help but chuckle. Our little hospice group walked by this old man and he tryed to whistle and was like, "Wooo pretty girls". The lady was like, "Settle down Pete". When we got out into the hall the nurse was said, "Some things with men never change." She gave us this big speal about how we cant wear low cut shirts or short skirts, etc, because the old men get really excited..sometimes too excited.
Anyways Im really excited to volunteer there this summer with our hospice class. We have to go to this conference type thing where there is all kinds of different events you can sign up for. Angela and I signed up for the weird ones like..Natural healing using crystals, a yoga "expirience", and how to relax using nature.
Field hockey is starting up the week after school gets out. Im excited about playing again but not the hot summer days when we have to do the sprint work outs and conditioning excercises. Camp at Orono is in the 3rd week of June which is always ALOT of fun.
Alot of teachers are leaving next year such as Mr. Loken, Mrs. Mo, Mr. Omonohey, and I heard that they might be laying teachers off. I also heard that Mr. Chapin is only going to be working half time next year. I really hope he stays. It seems like all the best teachers are leaving.
Anyways, I need to do my "rated R" poster for t-systems over comets.
