what a day yesterday!
I got to do traffic @ 3. it was stessful and fun and i had so much adreneline going. It was 2:55 when john gave me the ok... so i had 6 minutes to write something up. It was so great! When I got off the air i was shaking so bad that mel had to hug me and reassure me. But as silly as it sounds... it reminded me why I got into radio... I LOVE that feeling. Being on the air, even if it is only for a minute.
So instead of going home and watching movies last night... i went out with a bunch of people from work. "Celebrated" (although it was just a personal celebration for me). I met some fun TV people who I always see but never speak to. Caught up on some great gossip on both ends of the building. and got really... umm shall we say... splat-oed.
I have fuzzy memories of cabbing alone talking to the driver about watermelon gum.. and skunks. then passing out @ 4am.
This morning was no good... it was cold and i felt like... ASS.
BUT... I'm going to the Ex tonight... and the Heart and Crown... and I'm gonna do it all over again.
I'm still having troubling getting the grin off my face. I can't wait to do it all again... only next time maybe a little more prep time! (like 10 minutes.. hahhaa)
