1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Graduated, went to college.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I made resolutions in my diary, but that is not here. I remember most of them, and I did keep most of them because they were quite easy. A few were sad and I realized that I didn't want to keep them, for my own good. The only one I've made so far for 2007 is to make a friend.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

Don't talk to me.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A friendfriend at school.

I don't remember dates. (This survey is fun.)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I did really well my first semester at college. And I got a few jobs.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I failed to impress anyone my own age.

I have a superior immune system. Through concentration I can raise and lower my cholesterol at will.

Nice presents for my parents.

At some point, everyone's.
14. Where did most of your money go?
To the MBTA and to dinners.

Getting the hell out of high school, getting the hell out of college.

i) Happier or sadder? A little sadder, for different reasons.
ii) Thinner or fatter? I lost a lot of weight over the summer and gained it back, plus a little more. Who cares.
iii) Richer or poorer? A little richer.

Made people notice me. I exist and I am better than they are.

Thinking about how sad and deep I am.

I spent it at Grammy's, obv.

I fall in love everyday with every person I walk by. Do other people do that?

I don't hate anyone, there are just a lot of people I don't want to spend any time with.

I didn't read anything good this year because I was stuck in two dumbass English classes.

God I don't listen to like anything anymore. The Da Capo Players. Stars. Damien Rice. Return to Fiona Apple and Beatles. Was The Good Life this year?

A trip.

Oh shit, X-Men 3, hands down.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went with the senior band members to Boston. I was a bit cranky, but someone (I never found out who) tipped off the Hard Rock and they sang to me and gave me ice cream. Then we saw the Blue Man Group, and we thought it would be my name scrolling across the screen, but it was Lisa something and everyone yelled. While we were waiting in the lobby, "Independence Day" by Elliott Smith played on the jukebox, and I don't know who did it, but I'd like to thank them.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A friend at school.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
A little more style and color. V-neck sweaters and jeans. Velcro shoes to save time. It's working.
34. What kept you sane?
Knowing that all my friends were as miserable as I was so that I had someone to complain to online at all hours of the day and didn't have to feel bad about it.

John Krasinski. Carlos Bernard.

Governor election. War.

Most everyone, including those I never wanted to miss.
