So much for my BBQ and dinner with friends. Heh.
Thank goodness I don't live in any of the designated danger zones in my city. So I don't have to evacuate the area. But it's still strongly recommended that everyone stay inside over the weekend. There have been reports and press conferences on the hurricane all day. And mass transit all over the city is shutting down after noon tomorrow.
First an earthquake, now this...
I don't think there's ever been mandatory evacuations implemented in New York City before. Here's hoping the power doesn't go out and everyone on the East coast stays safe.
