NPR has a
lovely piece on the 50th anniversary of A Wrinkle in Time. I recommend listening to it rather than just reading the article, as the radio version is longer and includes some excerpts from the book.
Anyone planning a wedding?
Give it a Hunger Games theme!. Or, you know, don't. This feels like a weird attempt to pigeonhole THG as the next Twilight, where the romance is paramount, rather than recognizing that while there IS a romance, THG is a completely different kind of story. But you know, if you want a wedding that references the violent state-sanctioned murders of teenagers by other teenagers, then go for it!

And for fans of children's book author Mo Willems, an in-depth look at the
existensally bleak We Are In A Book!. I had no idea Gerald and Piggie had starred in such a grim meditation on the inevitability of death!
