I just really wish "Glee" would decide whether it's a great show or a terrible show. It's so confusing.

Right? It can't even seem to settle for some sort of middle ground, like being a mediocre TV show; instead it swings between the extremes of "awful" and "amazing", usually within the same episode and sometimes within the same scene.

The Emma storyline is SUCH a bad idea. I'm sure it's the show's way of getting her and Will back together, except they went and made Carl so likeable (and Will so unlikeable) that I would bet the majority of the audience would just as well see her with Carl.

The scene between Kurt and his dad was really touching, and I felt for Santana, too. But those moments aside, I'm glad I mostly watch for the music. *g*

I am behind on Justified, so cannot comment. ::hides eyes::

Awww, I love your icon!

Is there anybody out there still rooting for Emma/Will? Maybe the same people who are rabid Finn/Quinn shippers? Honestly, most of the time I don't "get" the ships that the writers seem to be wanting the audience to root for.

My non-spoilery Justified review: This is easily my favorite show on TV right now.

I believe in Boyd solely because of Wally Goggins. He sells his redemption so convincingly. I actually didn't have a problem with what he did. He was right. They wouldn't have left him alone.

I am so worried about Loretta. She is too smart and battle-worn for her own good. She knows her daddy is dead, but to survive it's easier to believe he's off on some extended vacation. And after seeing Mags' punishment of her sons, I have no doubt she would kill Loretta if she threatened her business. I watched the punishment through my fingers. 2nd time around didn't lessen the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I didn't really have much of a problem with what Boyd did either. He's right in saying that they brought it on themselves with their greed, and also their duplicity.

Right now, I think Mags sees Loretta as someone she can groom into the family business (let's face it, at fourteen Loretta already seems smarter than any of Mags's sons), but yeah, if threatened I believe she would definitely kill Loretta, even while regretting it.

Heh, me too, and second time around I fast-forwarded through it!
