After waking up from a heavy nap, I managed to climb out of bed so I could watch Get Out (2017) and The Evil of Frankenstein (1964).
I'd never actually seen Get Out although I'd heard all the buzz about it. It definitely has something to say about race relations in the US. Amazing movie and horrifying.
Then to "clear the air" a bit, The Evil of Frankenstein. Peter Cushing was actually rather dashing... and his acting isn't bad either. Loved it.
Hammer films are almost their own genre and I'm almost sad to close out the category with them. I am glad to close out the POC category as well. Need to get watching movies from Asia and find a haunted house movie as well as track down the rest of the extra credit. I swear; those last two movies are almost turning into a Quest.
