we had this assembly today. we watched this drunk driving video. It was pretty gruesome. I basically kept my jacket over my face for the gore while frankie repeated "not yet molly. ok now you're good." I didn't realize it, but alot of kids left and fainted in the middle of it. Threw up and everything. Since it was the first time it had ever been shown to a high school audience, some of us got interviewed for TV. I was on channel 8 at 6. I missed it. I think I looked pretty bad. oh well. There's my TV debut. Interestingly, one of the people featured on this tape, he had had brain damage, and now has very little physical damage. In fact, he looked completely normal. He was there, and he came out on stage and talked to us. I got to meet him. You couldn't even really tell, except that he had trouble keeping his train of thought all together on stage. But, in person, he was really collected. He was actually really cute... He had this HUGE throng of girls around him when I came back out to fix my hair before I went on camera. It was pretty funny. I mean, it had to be like 30 sophomore girls ringing this 22 year old guy. He was cute though. The movie was pretty amazing though, how one guy actually started drinking AGAIN, and driving his ATV drunk, which is how he got in the accident! I actually am glad that I watched most of it. Not only b/c of the message, we've heard that all before, but because it showed ppl who actually physically didn't show all their problems. It was just amazing what happened.

On a happier note: I went horseback riding today. And Foxy was great. We did a course of 6 jumps at a canter, the first time I tried to make him slow down, which didn't really work and we ended up in a minor arguement. The second time I let him go quickly but relaxed all the way around. He was great. I think I'm getting over my embarassment about the sedative. It's a tiny tiny tiny bit, it just relaxes his back and lets him calm down. I'm really happy that I'm happy with riding again (lol) and I'm just so ... geee... it's cool.

Million Dollar Baby? 8:10? Hoffman? You 'betcha.
