Goodness me! I am so sorry for getting your birthday gift to you so late. Our family owl fell ill, and I was waiting for him to recover before setting off for a long journey. I hope you had an enjoyable birthday, dear. I am sending you a blanket I knit especially for you, along with some sweets. Be sure to share your birthday cake with Remus. I know how much he loves chocolate.
I am hoping to see you before the summer is over, and you head back to school. You know you are welcome to come and stay with us any time you like.
