The post mordum on break
Well...I've had a very relaxing week, which basicly means I have completely screwed myself over because I finished very little of the work I was intending to diligently work on over break..right...fat chance....so my house has been taken over by this mysterious stetch that is gradually getting worse to which we cannot find the source. They seem to think it is leaching up into the mudroom from the cellar, but we basically haven't the faintest idea as to what it is or where it is coming from. I think my mother is going to tear the joint apart tomorrow in search of the source. I am glad I will miss that escapade.
Easter was a lot of fun. I made Ceta and Mom tape a few more songs because I haven't had a chance to record any more songs the past few family get togethers. For those of you who are unaware, I am making my Mom and Ceta sing all of the random old songs they know from their childhood because I am bound and determined not to let any more family history fall by the wayside as relatives die. I realized when my Grandmother died, that although I have heard my family's history and sung many of the songs I am recording on numerous occasions, my memory is not completely accurate, and I need to take action or everything that defines my family will be slowly forgotten. I hope to write them all out when I am finished...we shall see. This might progress into quite the length project...we do know a lot of songs.
Anyways, as I am leaving at the crack of dawn tomorrow, I will be very sorry if I do not get a move on and start packing up all my junk...6AM comes early you know...
