um most depressing day EVER. so the geese at our pond laid eggs and the momma goose has been laying on the nest for idk over a month. and today some asshole kids decided to attack the mother, get her OFF the nest and destroy every last fucking egg. like who the hell does that. i could not believe it. i actually cried. and the momma goose just stood on the sidewalk watching these two ignorant, selfish creeps destroy her babies. and then it took three calls to the police for them to actually come and do something. i just don't understand why they would do that. the geese were doing NOTHING to them. i just hope they lay more eggs and dont totally give up.

*update*: TODAY 4/28 WE SAW BABIES! THEY WERE TOO EARLY AND FORCE BIRTHED (?) BUT THEY'RE ALIVE.
