So, I'm doing rather well

I'm about to graduate!!! I'm getting really excited. It's countdown time!

I've made it into the honor society for nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, I'm receiving something called the Dean's Award, and I've been invited to be the student marshall for my nursing class. The Dean's Award is for something "Outstanding" student-wise and is apparently given once a year for for one student in each college in the university. I'm not so clear what the student marshall thing is, but it somehow has to do with having the highest GPA in my graduating class (of nursing, not the university), and requires me to do some kind of ushering or something at graduation.

Dates: Award ceremony for Dean's Award, Sunday, April 23rd at 3:00 in the Mike Rose Theatre. Thursday, May 4th at 7:00, pinning ceremony (it's a nursing tradition, and Dad gets to pin me since he's a nurse!) also at the Mike Rose Theatre. AND of course, May 6th at 3:00 at the Fed Ex forum, Graduation!!

Anyone is welcome to come!

I started my new job today at the neuro critical care unit at Methodist University, and so far so good! AND I've been accepted into the grad program for Family Nurse Practitioner starting in the fall.

On a completely different note, my dad is getting MARRIED! For real! They are looking at probably by November or December. They are going to sell both of their houses and buy a new one, probably in Southhaven. SO, I'm going to be getting my first apartment all by myself this summer. I guess I'll be a real grown up!
