Had one more trip to Banff, this time with wonderful fantastic Rob, who is now working for 2 weeks and will be back the end of July, I am counting the days.....
Had THE BEST days in Edmonton today and yesterday with Audrey and Janelle at West Ed, stayed at Fantasyland and did the whole waterpark thing, and the girls did tonnes of shopping, me not so much. We've also had lots of other adventures, like the Stampede pubcrawl last week that Rob also came on and it was great that he got to meet my friends and I also met lots of new friends through Janelle's softball team....we spent a girls day at the Zoo, had a great Canada Day BBQ at my apartment with Jan, Dan, Audrey, Rachael, and Alex and then did the whole Olympic Plaza thing and Alex and Jason and I did the Prince's Island Park thing in the afternoon....Debbie is now in town, we have an apartment for 1st or mid-September near the Rockyview. Janelle and I also spent a day at the midway of the Stampede Grounds and did the whole stampede thing, my first ever! Life has been so good, I am really having the most amazing time. Which is so nice for a change. Work is still going well, but working and the heat in Calgary are making me pretty dopey most of the time. And the other thing taking up all of my time is the fantastic guy I am with, he's simply fantastic and romantic and 28 going on 29 not 26 or 27 going on 20....other than being impatient to move out of my apartment and into a new one, I can't ask for much else right now. I am so content.
