I'm officially finished with college...
And absolutely not okay with it. I sit here and think about how I've spent 17 years of my life, basically the whole of my remembered lifetime, in school. Every fall, I've started; every spring, I've ended. But now, for the first time ever...there is a real end. Not just an end for a few lazy months of summer, but an end forever. That end is right now, this hour at 2:03pm when I submitted my last paper to finish it all off.
I'm starting my job in the real world in 2 months. The magnitude of this beginning has yet to really sink in. I think I still consider it to be just a summer thing...so I've yet to really think that in 2 short months, I will have my parental unbilical cord cut permanently and I will officially join the ranks of bonafide adults.
