Yeah, came 2nd at trivia last night. Devastating.
Actually it was sorta weird. There was barely anyone there, only about 8 teams. There was approx. 20 there last week. It's Uni holidays this week, so maybe that had something to do with it - although I would have thought that may have led to more students out on the piss midweek.
So yeah, midsemester break has been great. Waking up at midday, going to bed at like 4am, nothing much in between. Was actually going to start doing some swimming out the back, but it's been pretty overcast. Still warm, but yeah, I guess I'm searching for excuses.
Oh, the reported love triangle isn't going to eventuate it seems. Basically my friend isn't interested, and it appears she is, so it looks like a winner. I'm also going mention she works at a lingerie store.
As you can tell, I survived Saturday night. With flying colours actually, we all got extremely pissed (who would've thought?), and I had to call up sick for work the next day. Which apparently they didn't like. Anyway, there's photos here http://ozspurs.com/gallery/yidney_v_manure2004
Actually calling in sick on Sunday may come back to haunt me. I'm supposed to be going to a mate's bachelor party thing at the races, but I'm also rostered onto work. And seeing, ironically enough, that it is a big day at the races, we're going to be really busy at work (I work at the TAB head office), and so basically everyone is working. Thus it's going to be incredibly hard to get out of it. I'll probably have to do a morning shift, and then head off at around 1-2pm. Beggars can't be choosers I spose.
