same old same old
I seem to be stuck in a rut at the moment. Weekdays involve going to Uni and sort of hanging around all day, then coming home and doing nothing at all. Weekends are taken up with work and various silly shenanigans on the piss.
Sure, fun is being had, but there's gotta be more than this.
Meh, who cares.
I was supposed to get Madden 2005 last week, but for some reason it's been delayed, and EB promise me they'll call me when it gets in. Should be good.
Went to Oktoberfest on Friday night at the Lowenbrau. Yeah I know it's a bit early and stuff, but it was their first night of the "festival", so it was a pretty big night. The place is pretty expensive as well, so it was lucky that I met Mark from soccer. He was working there, but being the pisshead he is, he was half drunk, and was able to sort me out for many free drinks. I was there with work people, and there were a few interesting confrontations. Rebecca had her eyes on Muz - who wanted no part of it. Anyway, that was the main storyline running through the night, numerous wacky misunderstanings and misadventures were had.
Dave had a party on Saturday night, with a them of "ducks, trucks, pjs and boardies". Now if that isn't the most ridiculous fucking theme ever, I don't know what is. Basically, he was the only person with anyone pertaining to the themes. Still, a good night was had. Plenty of beeros there, had a chat to a few of the girls from trivia, so that could be one to watch. Actually got my eye on Sasha at the moment, and I think there could be some reciprocation. Would be weird though, she went to my school (well sorta - the girls equivalent next door anyway), but 3 years behind me.
Had to work on Sunday, then went to watch Spurs vs Chelsea last night. Drove into the city for it in fact, which meant I was sober for a game for the first time in god knows how long. Anyway, it made me really fucking nervous, especially as they were laying seige to our goal half the game. After the game Mourinho had a massive whinge - what a cunt he is. Mum got back from Melbourne today.
Trivia tomorrow night, we need to re-capture our crown. We came a very lowly and pathetic 2nd last week. Very disappointing indeed. Will also be an opportunity to get on the tune again, and play some BIG BUCK HUNTER II: SPORTSMAN'S PARADISE.
