I should be doing uni work....
On the back end of a massive weekend. Went to the swans game last night, which, alas, they lost to the hated lions. Pretty cool night, met up with these american dudes beforehand for some prematch goon, which pretty much set the tone for the evening. Been hanging out with said americans a fair bit actually, good people. From all over the shop, but they're only here on exchange for like 6 months, so are well up for good times.
Hit the Lowenbrau friday night for oktoberfest action (bit early....) but it was ridiculously expensive - you couldnt buy drinks, you had to buy "tokens" which could then be exchanged for drinks etc. Shithouse.
Ended up getting pancakes.
Dave's 21st on Thursday, very good night, although I had to work at 9 the next morning which was a STRUGGLE.
One week of uni to go until midsession break, should be excellent. 2 assignments due in that time though.
There is literally good live sport on ALL night, like for the next 8-9 hours. Absurd. Alas, uni at 11 tomorrow.
Quandry for the day - supposed to be going to J5/The Roots on Oct. 17, but then again supposed to be going to Surfers/Byron Bay on the 16th with some of these american punters. What to do? Answers on a postcard.
