Is there such a thing as good envy?
Soo...
Today I was in an intensive search for a term to express something like good envy...and after, approximately one and a half hour, I wondered if there really is some expression to describe that kind of feeling.
I know that envy is:
a) sorrow or regret for something someone else has or something that causes happiness in a third.
or
b) a feeling of displeasure at not having something and besides that, the desire to possess that thing.
But how can I say that I would like to have/feel that "it" someone else has/feels, without the desire to deprive the other of it, without wanting the worse for the other, or without feeling resentment?...
I don't know if I'm making any sense ( maybe I'm fucking up the translation)
Maybe I just forgot the correct term or expression, I don't know...
