Hey, Read This.
So, good news. I am happy. The housewarming party was, yes, amazing. And almost everyone I talked to showed up, despite the last minute invites. Which was exciting. I do like introducing my friends to one another. It's weird to realize that they don't all know one another, but that's the way it is. We'll have to have one of those again.
Tomorrow night I'm hosting a dinner party. Again, a last minute, impress my parents who are in town for a couple days, shindig. I'm cooking bread and pasta (a REAL italian recipe from miss elisa) and might even give the parents (or at least my dad...my mom doesn't drink really i don't think) some wine. And by "dinner party," I mean I invited Mac and James. Plus Jessi, Jared and Tegan.
At noon thirty the parents show up to scrutinize my lifestyle for three days. Should be painless. I lead a pretty simple life...they won't have too many objections. I like my parents so much more now that I don't live with them. And now that they know I'm a grown up (!) and can take care of myself.
Oh, there is a girl who might move in until Mac moves in. This would be good. We need some of that sweet sweet money. Otherwise we'll have to start selling our bodies.
oh, that's all. i am going to do some more reading on this lovely saturday evening and then go to bed.
And I ate a pizza with mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and pesto for dinner.
On a food note, Galerias is one of the most amazing restaurants ever. Frequent it. Often.
