Consider the power and knowledge required to reshape a planet.
Realize it is within our grasp, and weep with joy:
Then consider how that power is wasted.
And those tears turn to despair.
Something less depressing.
Have been contemplating the idea of a material that would directly convert thermal energy to electrical energy.
It's a nice, complex problem to chew over: Currently wondering at what scale the thermal energy of small particles of iron would register as motion.

Was deeply, deeply amused to discover that Cadi is someone I already know and hadn't spoken to in over 2 years.
Would be nice if I could remember her real name, as opposed to the various handles and nicknamse I've known her under!
