Long time no see
Arf, I know, I'm unforgivable. I'm always saying that yes, I'll write more often and all and all.... but I simply have no time to do so.
School, work, boyfriend...
For example, I've been doing 13 days in a row of school/work before one free day... and after that free day was another 14 days of school/work before another holiday (which was yesterday). And I still managed to get all my schoolwork done on time.
As I'm writing this, I am in class. But if I have (and take) time to do this, well, that's because the class is a real joke. I mean, it's called "outils informatiques du traducteur", but I mean, it's all so easy. We've had an exam the week before last week and we've just received our marks: almost everyone, including me, has got 100%.
And we've just begun an exercice to try the "Fusion" software (a tool for translators), and I'm like... done. But I can see that Fusion is much more fun to work with than MultiTrans.

Anyway. Yesterday was my father's birthday. My brother and I got him the very first album of Tintin (au pays des Soviets). He was so happy. He's such a fan of Tintin lol. And before that, I changed my summer tires for the winter ones on my car with Keven's help. And as we had the garage for us, he changed his as well. So that's something done. Next week, we're going to clean our cars. And it's so much more fun to do those kinds of stuff together than all alone. I mean, he brought his IPod and his (small but powerful) sound system that we plugged in the garage and we had music all that time. So that's really nice.
Oh, and we've been together for 8 months now since yesterday (lol for, since, now... reminds me too much of English classes...!) And speaking of Keven, he bought himself a new mattress. It's in "visco-élastique", the new "trend" in mattresses that are approved by NASA. I've tried it yesterday night... OMG! You fall asleep on that like instantly. And you sleep so nicely! I mean, with Keven's old mattress, I would wake up at 8h30, like usual at home. But yesterday: 10h30. So bloody comfortable.
Arf, tomorrow is work. Bleh. And I have a translation to get done for Friday. Well, the translation itself is done (there's only the stupid untenured curator that's giving me trouble... as well as for everyone else!), I only have a "fiche terminologique" to get done with, and it'll be all done.
... I kinda look forward to my Reading week now... A little rest, please ^^;; It'll be the last week of October (and I'm not scheduled to work at the Choco!! I'll be able to get work done while Keven's sleeping, and to see him when he wakes up!).
Oh, and I've learned that this year, at Christmas time, all my family (dad side) is going in a hotel for three days (two nights), and Keven is more than welcome to come ^^! That's just so nice! I mean, spend three days with him would be a little (very little, I know) like we were living together. Now I just hope we'll have a room for only us. That would be extra nice. I'll have to go and seek that info.
Hee, Keven's birthday is in two weeks! I can't wait to give him his gift. I just know he's going to be over-happy with it. ^^
(Yes, I'm still in class, it's just that almost everyone is gone, the lab is like over... Too easy, I tell ya)
