Some news

First things first, I don’t know if I talked here about an exam I had to do three weeks ago for my Introduction en Lexicologie class… If not, just know it didn’t go so weel, or so I thought because this morning, I received my mark and OMG!! I was so sure I’d fail it (and was mentally prepared and ready to work really hard for the second exam) but it’s not the case here… not at all! In fact, I did very very well. My mark? 39.5 out of 45!! That’s like 88.66%!!! And it was just so unexpected…! Woohoo!! That starts pretty well my week, and follows an excellent week end. Wanna know? Oh well, if you don’t, stop reading ^_-

So, starting with Friday, I had a written exam for my Français en Amérique du Nord class which, I think, I did well. I had to write two pages (well one, but recto verso), single interligned and I was so sure I’d write only about 1 and ¼ of that… but no, I did two complete pages. And mind you, my writting is small so… And I decided to write a « brouillon » and then copy it in ink. I only had from 8 :30 to 10 to do that. And I finished copying just in time. I can tell you that was a close call. And then, there was the lecture and it was pretty cool. Maybe you’ve heard many hypothesis about why we, Canadians, are called « frogs » by Americans, like the famous one : Canadians in a ring would jump around to avoid being hit? In fact, we’re called like that because back in the colony (or maybe a little bit after), we were eating frogs’ thighs. And.. that’s all lol OK, let’s stop talking about school now… or maybe not. Just one last thing. I’ve been trying to register for the next term of school during all the past week, but it wasn’t working because of some fucked up course numbers they haven’t yet changed. Stupid thing. And this morning, when I went to try another time, I’ve been told by the site that registration period was on hiatus until November 28th. Arg, anyway, now I’m done with school talk ^_-

On Friday evening, I went to the Galeries with Keven to play our now habitual DDR. And we bought candies (jelly beans to be exact) at the little Sweet Factory store. I bought for $5… Keven bought for $23! Then we went to the Courvilloise school to pick up my brother after his cadets weekly reunion (around 9 :30-10). As we arrived quite soon, we walked around a little bit. It was fun We were eating our jelly beans and everytime one of us would eat one buttered popcord flavoredm we’d go « eurgh » (‘cause they’re really disgusting lol). Then we got home (mine) but not for long because it looked like the boys were hungry, so we got back in town to get a pizza (at 11pm… X_X). I ate some fries but that’s all lol. And then Keven and I finished his fourth CD while watching Futurama. At 2 :30am, Keven got back home.

Saturday. Got a call from Keven at midday. He wanted to watch a movie with me before going to eat with his father, We watched Final Destination. Cool movie, but I couldn’t stop jumping for random reasons (like the guy hitting suddenly his wheel). And that was making Keven laugh and go « you’re so funny ». And beside the movie, I did absolutely nothing…

Sunday. My favorite day of that week end. At 12 :30, I went to pick up Keven(yes, again) to go to the Galeries (with the twins and two of their friends; they were meeting us there at 1 :30). We played DDR while waiting for them. They arrived at 2 :30 and the twins and Keven succeded to bring me in the roller coaster. OK, maybe the thing that really decided me to go was Keven saying « look, I’ll sit with you and hold your hand, ok? » Do you know how long I’ve waited to do that!? For the first turn, it was a really shy hold, almost just the tips of the fingers touching, but the second one… I really took his hand and the sweetie hold it while putting his other hand on top of it. I really like that… even if I didn’t like the roller coaster X_X. Then the group headed for the HMV store where Keven bought a movie and a gift certificate. But when he went to pay, he realized he didn’t have his debit card with him. So guess who helped him for the third time? Yep, me. Then the twins and I wanted some ice cream, so we headed for the Crémière. Keven’s back was getting pretty achy so he sit while waiting for us. I was the first to get my my ice cream, so I went to sit with him. He told me he’d give me my money back that very evening. And I told him I’d give him a little massage. He was like « aww, you’re so nice ». It took me about 10 minutes to eat my ice cream and by the time (4 :10), Keven and I had to go because I had to drive him to his brother’s place. And finally, in the evening, I never had the opportunity to give him the massage because my mom wouldn’t stop talking with us X_X. And when he went to leave, he hugged me and my mom was like « Aww, that’s so cute. It’d be even cuter with a kiss ». Way to go mom! At least, and maybe it’s a good sign, Keven wasn’t trying to escape my eyes when I was looking at him while my mom was saying all of that. Umm, the more I think about it, the more I think I should ask him where he is in his reflection following my feelings I revealed to him… even if I told myself I wouldn’t ask it… But it’s been a month or so, I think I’m in the right to ask, right?

Arf, anyway. That was a pretty long entry ^^ lol And now I want to play DDR. This game IS addictive, I’m telling you! Lol and I have like 650 songs or so now. Maybe I should list them for anyone interested to have the simfiles… Maybe ou’d be interested to know that I have the official stepfiles of the real DDR games (even the SuperNOVA ones ^^)… Let me know ^^

This week, one exam (English, Wednesday). Not so bad ^^ I’m surviving. And that mark from today really encourages me!

Well, I hope everything’s going fine for you!
Have a nice week!
