Thank you. To answer your questions. No I didn't. Read below. Yes sort of as I thought it was only those dependent would get it and didn't think I was there. No.

I am well aware of alcohol as a poison/drug. While at University I subjected my body to many recreational forms of drugs, including alcohol. Some I enjoyed, others I didn't. After going into the real world I carried some of these over, but also cast an eye over what these drugs did to the body. It made me more informed of their effects and then I can make a decision on whether I use them or not. If I'm asked what would I like to drink and say Coke, Coffee, J2O. I get looked at strangely and asked if I'm OK. I reply I don't want that drug at the moment,

I smile ironically when people say their offspring are not into drugs because it may lead to bigger things, but will happily endorse going out to a pub and buying them a pint or two or three. Not realising the link between alcohol-poison-drug. I do believe education is the way forward, as I believe that some things, in moderation can be fine (but last night I overdid it!

I am sorry about that, I just don't know when to shut up sometimes. I worry, you see, that people are just not aware of how easy it is to be dependent upon alcohol without even knowing that they are.
Put it down to me being a grumpy old lady with a HUGE bee in her bonnet about the dangers of alcohol.
