brain shoots
I had such a weird dream the other night.
I dreamt that after graduating college I spent two years in Canada as an experimental botanist growing plants called "brain shoots". They looked a lot like ivy but the leaves were lighter green and they didn't have vines/tendrils. They were apparently often infested with spiders if you didn't take good care of them. And also, most importantly, if you ate the brain shoots, your IQ would be permanently increased.
I was raising, de-spidering, and eating the brain shoots for two years in Canada, and then, I came back to my university to be on some quiz show. I never finished the show in my dream so I can't tell you whether or not I won. But in the dream I was banking on winning because the brain shoots had made me smarter.
So last night, I told Marcel about this dream, and he said he couldn't believe I was using the brain shoots to cheat on the quiz show lol. And he was like, "Darcy, where in Canada were you? Where are these brain shoot plants?" So I said I thought it was BC but I couldn't really remember. And then he was hugging me and cuddling me and he was like, "Darcy, there are no poisonous spiders in Canada." Lol I can't really remember all of our conversation but he was cracking me up big time.
So then I did a google search for "brain shoot plant" and came across this image.
Then I wanted to watch it... and found the full movie on youtube haha. I haven't watched it yet but it seems pretty stupid and/or amazing. Marcel and I are going to watch it later I think.
