Don't know why it has to be this way, but almost every time I come home a whole bunch of bikes have fallen over in front of my apartment building. There is a little bike area covered by a roof but the bikes keep falling over. Marcel and I think it is probably from the wind. Usually I'm lucky and my bike is still standing. But yesterday it had fallen down and when I picked it up the tire rim on one of the tires was bent so that it was rubbing against the tire and I couldn't ride it. Marcel tried to bend it back for me but he couldn't fix it. So today I went to the bike shop and the guy bent it so that it wasn't rubbing anymore and I can ride it again.
He said if I wanted a new part it would cost 2500 yen and there is really no point in paying so much because the bike itself was only 6000 yen. If I want a pretty bike I might as well get a new bike, right? Actually I have a couple of friends that are moving soon so I was thinking I might buy one of theirs. Could be good timing.
In any case my bike still works. It's just not as nice looking as some other bikes.
