oh noes.... won't be hearing from me in a while!!!
The power cord for my computer is finally dead. Totally.... the plastic outside broke ages ago near where it plugs into my computer, so I fixed it with duct tape, but apparently the metal part of the inner wire has gradually broken over time.... I just took off the tape and it looks like it's not something I can fix any longer.... just as well. So sayonara, power cord! Luckily I will be going to the US very soon and maybe if I bring my dead cord with me to a computer place I can get a new one? Or at least order one? Because this is pretty important X____X
My battery sucks so it won't take long.
It's sad because I was just watching Colbert Report.... one of the few TV sites that doesn't region block me. But it's good because now I will surely be able to focus on packing for my trip home. And since this is an American computer and HP is pretty common I can probably get a new cord in the US when I'm home, right? お願いします～ I really need a new lappy and I still want that sweet dual monitor Onkyo one.... but for the time being all my info is on this one and I need to keep it around til I can transfer it over to whatever I get. I want something small with a giant hard drive and decent speed... this one has good speed but not enough space and it is too big to be convenient.
