So, this is not really that important in the grand scheme of things, perhaps.  But during my two sick days this week I had this random idea that I realized may be what I have been looking for in this book I have been trying to write.  I basically had written a few pages in all the time I have tried to get this thing off the ground.  So this idea I had allowed me to crank out a lot more today.  I've just about got the story in motion.  I'm not really concerned with having it be amazing at the moment, I just want it to start moving.  I have decided that I want to be finished with a rough draft by the time my contract ends.  I'm the kind of person that really needs solid goals for motivation, so hopefully this will keep me writing.  I'm not sure how many pages you'd say it is right now because I'm writing it in an actual journal and drawing pictures in it sometimes.... also crossing out sections/words I don't like.... which means it's not as long as it looks.  I'm done with the first two chapters, though ^__^

I'm planning on not letting anyone read it until the rough draft is finished.  After that, I may let people read it in order to get constructive criticism.  But right now I just want to figure things out on my own.
