How did I not realize that I have twin students? I think they're 2nd graders. Today I went out the gates after teaching and there were two girls dressed exactly alike and then they turned around and their faces were the same! And I recognized that face. But I never realized it belonged to two people. (They must be in different sections of the same grade.) I was kind of shocked, so I said "onaji fuku!" Like "wow you guys are wearing the same thing" haha. And then one of them just matter-of-factly said "datte, futago da mon"..... "well, we are twins."
It was a classic headdesk moment.
I bought all the most random candy I could find at the combini and I am going to take it home in my suitcase and give it to my family. I hope they appreciate it. I bought like $20 worth of candy and gum. Because everyone needs to see things like Watering Kissmint with their own eyes. I hope the chocolate doesn't melt.... the guy at the store said if I put it inside stuff so it was in the center of my bag it would probably be insulated and safe in there.
I don't feel like packing at all. Maybe if I put on the most upbeat music I can find, I will become motivated.
Oh, speaking of which, I found this random song in a karaoke book a week ago and I wanted to look it up because I was so amused.

A lot of the comments on the video are just plain mean... but I guess you have to expect that when you do something incredibly nerdy on the internet. I've had people insult me in my comments too D:
Yesterday and today when we do the greeting in class it has gone like this:
ME: Good morning/afternoon!
THEM: Good morning/afternoon Darcy Sensei!
ME: How are you?
THEM: I'm ______ and you?
ME: I'm happy!
Then their teachers ask me why and I say because I am going home on Wednesday. But that is only half the reason ^__~
