Guess who left their laundry air drying outside when it rained all day? I didn't even think about it until after work, too. Seriously DUH lol. I guess it's going to take a while to dry.
Made tacos with the 6th graders, & more tacos with 6th graders tomorrow. Can you believe it's the first time the 6th grade teachers have had tacos? Let alone the students, I'm sure it's most of their first times too. I feel like I'm spreading the love.
More 2nd graders gave me little thank yous (in Japanese). My favorites (besides the ones with Japanese spelling errors ^__^) were the ones that said "I love English" and "I want you to stay here forever" AWWWWWWWWWW. I have successfully won them over and done my job well. They also drew a picture of me and I'm wearing green. Oh they really know me hahaha. And then I wrote みんな、ありがとうございます! (thank you everyone!) on the board and they were all WOOOW until I told them I could also write kanji and wrote 二年生 (2nd grader(s)) which really made them go crazy. It's kind of sad that impressed them from my point of view because of course after studying Japanese at a university for 3 years I should be able to do that. But since I'm the first English teacher who can read/write kanji they're always impressed.
Best Japanese typo: たのしかっな hahahaha. Oh I really feel for that kid.
PS - I'm getting a cold :( :( :(
