[Fic] Where There's Truth, There Will Be Lies
He's always been a good liar when he tries; being a good actor isn't much of a step sideways. Or maybe it's just easy to fool the people around him. A smile and a firm handshake, an eager tone and the right words. Look friendly enough and they believe him every time.
Maybe it's just that the lie has become so much a part of him that no matter how bad things get, he can always say it convincingly.
After all, he's never really all right. It's just that he's not always all wrong anymore.
