Lay Lady Lay
Well, my first St. Patty's as an irishwoman went off without a hitch!!
Huzzah for me....
I gotta tell you, I have been listening to so much music that my ears absolutely ache from the damn headphones. Since my stereo is dead I am reduced to my discman, and we all know I can't own regular headphones....no. I must have huge, dorky kid headphones that pinch my skull together from overuse.
Ah well...the tunes were worth it. Sky Blue Sky is absolutely great, but the Barrel House Mamas have really been giving it a run...in truth it has been several days since I've listened to Wilco, and only since this morning for the Mamas. I'm a bit suprised myself.
I went out last nite with Sandy again. We had a blast. She is truly a good time, and I can't wait till Friday when Gwen will be here. To top it all of, we had a lovely breakfast this morning. If you have never had coffee cake from the Village Deli you must try it. Its divine, truly.
I know I've been poor about posting, and all I can say is that I have been preoccuppied....so there. I'll try to be better, as this is the most effective form of communication with some of you, communication that remains very important to me.
Anyway, I'm tired and could really use a nap, so I think that I will do that.
