That movie scared the **%$# out of me. And now it's a children's toy. I've never had the chutzpah to watch it again.
Speaking of Hitchcock I watched 'the 39 steps' a little while ago. It was a good movie, but the book is short and sweet and soooo much better. So, If you're looking for a good book, I recommend it. (spy thriller - by John Buchan (a real spy - trained in Canada no less, at Camp X... if I recall correctly.)
(Note: I would say at Camp X, but J.Buchan was a WWI spy, so maybe my timeline is a little askew. Camp X was a WW2 spy training camp that featured Ian Fleming (James Bond) and Rohald Dalh (James and the Giant Peach or my fav. Danny, Champion of the World)).
I've never seen The 39 Steps, but Birds did scare me too when I first saw it. I think it's an interesting idea to make the Tippi Hedren Barbie, not necessarily as a toy.

Like, a "Psycho" themed Ken, with a knife in his hand, sneaking up on barbie in the shower, those two kids from "rope", that kinda thing...
