So life as a christian never changes no matter where you end up on the globe.
I've checked out two churches already, and I've found a place for me (I think). My buddy Gord brought me to my first visit to The Vine (wwww.thevine.org.hk) , located in Central area. The average age of the people at the Vine in my opinion would be 25; either university students or recent graduates. The church is very multicultural, and most importantly, SO MANY Canadians go there. I feel like home! Yay! Canada!! haha.... miss T.O. ... many Torontonians go to this service :)
The band is truly amazing. I think they recently launched their own cd. Haven't bought it yet, but I will definitely think about it. Actually, I'm probably going to get it. Pumping music... and music that I know. So glad I found a place to praise again!!!!! Yay!
I really appreciate going to service at The Vine because I can see the Holy Spirit working in the leaders, and the passion they have for God. Although the band is great, the people are nice, the place is comfortable, and has it's on little cafe... most importantly, I hear the good news in the message... they never leave out the important part; the gift of Salvation. Jesus died for us. US!!
God is amazing... thank you for finding me a place.
