I am in day 6 of a deep blue funk. Lovely thing, depression, because everyone wants to know why you are depressed. It is not rational, there is no reason, I just am. I had a few good manic weeks, but now the brain says it is time to hole up for a good sulk.

So, I was looking at that web site, and in their About Us section I saw the name Bill Hay. I used to know that guy. He was one of the Flare (con security) guys at BayCon in like '89-'92. I was in High School at the time. He had the nickname "Fuckin Waa" because he was so good at bitching about stuff. Last I heard, he moved down to LA to make miniatures and models for movies. His bio says that was in '93, which sounds about right to me, beginning of my long stay at DeAnza. Now he worked on this fan film, and owns his own suit of Storm Trooper armor. Good to see he is doing all right. He and I were never close, but it is nice to hear about people you know doing cool stuff.
