You'd like it if he were perving on inanimate objects, or dudes, right? But alas, there's little humor in this situation.

He's flashing back to some pretty unsavory moments in his life; he sees jungles and enemies,

[Shion'd come down to the kitchen after hearing strange noises while she was upstairs, trying to sort out what dresses she could salvage, and which were lost because they were just -that- ugly.]

[She'd grabbed up something on her way down, most likely a vase, in case she needed to throw something at someone. She paused as she came into the kitchen, and raised the vase.]

Hey, who are you?

[Just her luck Allen would be out right now too.]

[Ryo turned, aiming his Colt Python immediately; he had some gauze in the process of being wrapped on his arm, and a gash on his forearm. Probably from a few hallucinating encounters.

He sees her as a woman with a gun. Figures it's the owner of the small old hut, ready to defend her territory.]

I'm sorry, but I'm in need of a few supplies. Please put the vase down.

[Shion was torn between three different reactions at Ryo's turning. One was to throw the vase and run for it, which seemed like a very bad idea since she had no idea if he was good with that gun or not, the second was to rush over to help with his arm injury, also not a good idea, and the third, the one she chose to go with...]

[Shion sets the vase down.]

I don't know why you need supplies here, your own home should have enough, shouldn't it? But you're injured. You should let me look at it.

[He looks at the gun supposedly hanging around her shoulder-she didn't have it aimed and ready. She could have shot at him before he turned. So maybe she wasn't going to off him. He relaxes, though he's quite focused on her, and slowly puts the gun back in it's holster.]

I don't live here-I'm just passing through the village, sorry.

[Do his eyes seem off, like he was dreaming while awake? Yes, they do.]

Village? Are you feeling alright?

[Shion watches him, a slight frown crossing her face. The guy seems a little off somehow.]

[His eyes are a bit listless and blank, as if he's sleep walking, but... he sounds sure of himself. Hallucinating will do that to a man.]

That's right, this village-just below the beginnings of the Highlands? I know I wasn't traveling long enough to pass them... But I guess I haven't had water for a good 2 or 3 days...

[Shion's face shows an obvious confusion. She can make guesses what's wrong with the man before her, but they would be simply guesses. With a deep sigh, she looks him straight in the eye.]

I'll get you some water, then let me treat that arm. And don't shoot at me when I start moving, alright?

[Her tone is firm as she speaks, hoping he isn't so far gone that her words won't be understandable to him.]

...Fine with me, then.

[He leans against the cabinets, looking at the wound. It was about 2 inches deep, but at least cleaned. Of course, he'd already wrapped a gunshot wound through his other arm, right above the elbow. It made tying the other one such a hassle...]

[Shion seemed a bit relieved he understood, and moved over to get a glass out of the cabinet. Filling it with water, she handed it off to him.]

I'm grabbing out a towel and some scissors to cut it with, since I haven't any actual bandaging, but they're clean towels so it should work for now.

[She was obviously telling him her moves, since she had no desire to have a gun pointed at her again.]

[He nods, taking the glass that he'd very carefully watched you fix DON'T YOU TRY POISONING ME.]

[Shion only nodded, before drawing out a few hand towels and a pair of scissors. She began carefully cutting the cloth of one of the towels to make a makeshift bandage. After she had finished, she put the scissors away and grabbed up another towel, soaking in down and wringing the excess water out before turning to Ryo.]

I'm going to take off the bandage you have on now, wash the wound and then re-bandage it.

[She moved to do so, hoping that was enough warning.]

[He just watches curiously. Whelp, if she were planning to kill him, he'd be doomed. But she seems quite sincere, and he has lost a good amount of blood, so... Ah well.]

[As if Shion would actually hurt him if she had any other choice. Even those who threatened her she had sympathy for, and it got her scolded often enough.]

[Proceeding through the steps she outlined prior, Shion unwrapped, cleaned and re-wrapped the wound, tying the ends of the towel together tightly. She would have preferred to tape the towel, heck even preferred medical gauze, but one had to make do with what they had.]

[Finishing, she smiled at him.]

There. Are you injured anywhere else?

No, I think that's it. [He lies, shifting awkwardly. He still hasn't found that 'mokkori charm' just yet at his mental age. Women are quite uncommon in his current line of work.] I'm sorry for the trouble. And, uh, thanks...
