[He sees a disheveled woman with a knife in her hands, before him. While he was softer to women, he'd learned not to trust them on the battlefield. He had a nice scar across the ribcage from a bullet, for that mistake.]

...Ryo? What's going on? [She's more tempted to ask why the hell he has a gun aimed at her spine though.]

[He blinks, but doesn't change stance.]

[...What? Is he drunk or something? April blinks and frowns in confusion and raises her hands, making sure they were spread open to show she wasn't holding anything.]

[He wonders if she's just a random villager. After all, it's not uncommon to want to bring a weapon into the jungle with you, right? For protection? He pulls the gun away, just a little.]

I'm scouting the jungle for potential enemies-you shouldn't be out here.

[When she feels the gun move away, she allows her hands to slowly fall back to her sides, but she still faces directly ahead; she won't turn around until she's completely sure that he won't shot her.]

...The...jungle? We're in a town...[That's it, he's probably drunk, high or both.]

[He continues to hold his gun, but his frown deepens and he's considerably less dangerous than moments earlier.]

Go home, whoever you are. Look straight ahead and walk, and don't turn around. If you come back, I'll have no choice but to kill you. Understand?

In most circumstances, April would've done the exact opposite, since Ryo was acting weird as hell. Instead, she turns her head slightly so that she can give him a blank look out of the corner of her eye, before sighing and doing as he said.]
