Literally the second person he met in Mayfield, he was immediately attracted to her busty mokkori figure! Their first meeting was a simple 'hi I'm Ryo', 'hi I'm Velvet', but it quickly bloomed into a friendship after being stuck together in Westport. He genuinely cares for the woman enough to take a bullet for her, and is amazed at the patience she has for him compared to other pretty babes. She's not as easy to have a manly conversation with, though.

A nice kid he'd met in Westport, during his first few unfortunate days in Mayfield; he shared some of his rations with the kid in exchange for any information about what the hell was going on. He was easily able to figure out Winry flustered Ed, as well as catch that the boy's arm and leg were fake. He's pretty shocked at Ed's country-ness, but it's to be expected. Let's hope he can show the boy some video games someday! But probably not.

Upon meeting him on day one, he shares one very important, very srs thing in common with the younger man: THE LOVE OF WOMEN. This alone made it a definite cause for friendship. While he doesn't know Scout very well, he's definitely willing to watch his back or fight alongside him. Not to mention, chatting with him is a like two dudes havin' beers. It's chill.

Lucas, Lucas, Lucas. They met in Westport, which is a shitty place for an introduction if you ask Ryo. He helped the boy and Flora escape from hazmat men, and Lucas healed his injured arm in return. He's kind and selfless, two qualities Ryo likes in people. If the kid ever needed help from him, he'd be there as fast as he could, regardless of the danger.

Aw, man, his other Westport kid. He met Luke in a church, when both weren't doing so hot; sharing his rations and giving him his jacket, he promised the boy he'd come back to get it back. The child's hopefulness and resilience despite the hell that was going on made him empathize and want to help. Too bad he wasn't doing too good himself. At any rate, he's a good kid and Ryo'd use his gun for his sake if necessary.

Despite this, they actually spoke and had a conversation, implying hopefulness that their relationship won't be ONLY trying to kill/knock him out! Of course, that doesn't mean it won't happen very very often.

Seriously, this is a really aggravating chick. While he wasn't initially keen on possibly killing her if need be, the more she spoke, the more she sounded like a cruel and dickish person... Really, is she even a lady? Definitely not a proper one. They fought once in the night, showing through sheer viciousness that she's not one to be underestimated.
