2008 - A Year In Review from the Chronicle Reporter...
This is special report is dedicated to all the tomodachi-tachi from the "Tomodachi" list. *bows*
The final day has arrived and once again, we all go back to the days that marked the important points throughout the year. Some had been for the good and others had been for the bad. Well, here I go on this final meme for the year 2008. YOSH!!
"THE 2008 "END OF THE YEAR" SPECIAL REPORT"
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Go to an alternative rock concert of Nine Inch Nails with my brother and his friend on October 28th. It is one of those bands that my brother listens a lot on his iPod. At first, I didn't like to listen to that kind of music, but later I had to admit in front of him that some of their songs are all right. I really became a huge fan of the lead band member, Trent Reznor. Not only he's good looking singer, but he plays a lot of instruments!! *is impressed* Anyway, the concert was a total blast, the effects of the stage were very awesome, and luckily... I didn't felt out of place with those fans. *laughs very hard* It was a fun challenge to do something that my brother likes and I would love to attend another concert of that group again. That is... if my brother invites to go along with him! ROCK ON, DUDES!! =P
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make New Year's resolutions because that would be saying a lie in the end.
After all, I'm not the kind of person who makes promises for I tend to break them.
However, I had a primary goal that I needed to accomplish and I must say that I made it true in the end!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My long-time friend from middle school, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in mid-February~ ^o^
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one close to me left in this world so far. *feels relieved*
5. What countries did you visit?
None. Demo, I don't think visiting Little Japan and Little Canada at Disney's EPCOT qualified under that category... XDD;;
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
I didn't lack anything for this year, but I hope that happiness still remains for the upcoming year. On the other hand, I still would like to have more chapters of Kobato, HOLiC, and TRC!! XDD

It all began when midnight came in which marked March 15th, 2008; I was hanging around with Kasumi-san and Kuro-sensei on MSN Messenger. Later in the day, I had a very small birthday party from my parents at my home. We enjoyed eating a very delicious birthday cake and my favorite ice cream (Cookies and Cream~! ^o^ *SQUEE!*). I appreciated on all the birthday cards and E-cards, special birthday dedications, a very beautiful drawing that I love so very much, the many Yukito Tsukishiro icons (>///<), and the birthday wishes from my family and friends. It all ended just the same way that it all began, by hanging around on talking with Kausmi-san, Kuro-sensei, and with some of my online friends. For the first time ever, I must admit that the political issue that got me interested was the 2008 United States Presidential Election Race. It was very historic, from its start and all the way to the finish. I was really impressed about how people like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Sarah Palin made such many kinds of historic accomplishments. The election was very fun to watch and no one knows for sure if we ever get to experience this kind of thing again. Very historic election indeed for this year!!

Don't worry, I still love the ones that were met on the previous year!! Daisuki desu wa! ♥
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008.
The most valuable lesson that I have learned for this year is about embracing true happiness in life. There are many kinds of happiness: in friendships, families, the ones we are destined to live as one - any kind of happiness! One should take great advantage to enjoy our daily lives with the ones that we love and care with our hearts. Never miss out an opportunity if destiny calls you out to obtain and achieve greater happiness. Always take courage and honor to show someone how much you consider that person to be the most important and amazing thing in your life. I'm very sure that your feelings will be greatly accepted and they will truly feel the same way about you. Carry on the happy memories in your heart; for is and always will be your greatest strength on living as a stronger person. Smile and always continue to stay happy - now and forever!

42. What was your least favorite moment of the year?
I do not want to mention about that for it brings me really bad memories. I can only say the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not making to the playoffs and the Cubs being eliminated from the playoff race at the 1st round... again...;!! Oh Cubbies, your so-called 100 year old curse still lingers on… *cries on the corner* ;____________;

Probably with my family and my online friends.

March and December.

No.
50. How many people did you sleep with in 2008?
No one.
51. Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Sometimes, but it wasn't anything that can get anyone to get badly hurt - especially in their feelings.
52. What was the worst lie someone told you in 2008?
I really don't want to go there on answering that question, I already moved on in my life.
53. Did you treat somebody badly in 2008?
I have to admit that I treated people badly at times, but it wasn't anything serious that can hurt someone in the most emotional way. Still, even if I did hurt someone a little bit is still not right and honorable. There is forgiveness, but I hope that I can avoid making these kind of mistakes in the near future.
54. Did somebody treat you badly in 2008?
Yes. However, it is a thing of the past and is completely forgotten.
55. How much money did you spend in 2008?
I could say that I spend more than $500 dollars, but that's not really the exact amount. ^^;;
56. If you could go back in time to any moment of 2008 and change anything, what would it be?
I would absolutely change nothing for this year because I really was happy for the way things in this world took its place. We all had our very special moments in our lives and for mine... I'm very grateful for all the wonderful things that destiny had brought me. I lived this year with no regrets, only true happiness.

Kasumi-san (

Final Thoughts from the Chronicle Reporter...
Wow... what can I really say about this year, ne? After taking a good look back of all the things that happened, I must truly say that 2008 was definitely one of the best years of my life. Not just in my life, but in the lives of the many people who made it very special and very magical. There were great accomplishments and there were also great disappointments. The things we gain forever and the things we lost forever. These days of this year... we learned great lessons and we lived through all the challenges on the course of our lives.
It was special in many ways. It was historic in many ways. I took a great chance to achieve the most important goal of true happiness and able to make a difference that can bring happiness for everyone in this small world that we live in. Dreams became a reality. Promising goals became great rewards. This year was definitely something special and wonderful in my life, as if I wrote a great story and was able to share this splendid tale with my friends and family. And now, it is time for me to write the remaining final page for this 2008 book...
As each word that I write in my mind and in my heart is like the seconds that now is counting down towards its ending. However, the memories that I have created for this year will be as a great guide of what I can do to make the upcoming year to be filled with great accomplishments and happiness. In what way should I end the 2008 book and how should begin to write the 2009 book? Only the inevitable destiny of my life knows, but the history of building the 2009 memories will start now.
My friends, my family, and the world... thank you for making the many wishes of 2008 to become an endless and memorable reality. I'm forever grateful with all my heart for being there in my life as we shared the love, the laughter, and the eternal happiness.
I will greatly miss you, o' honorable 2008... for your year was kind, sweet, and very honorable. I truly thank you with all my heart for letting have a year full of complete happiness in my life. As for you, o' promising 2009... let us hope that you can let us do our very best in everyday to make the year filled with prosperity and with much greater happiness.
Have a safe and wonderful New Year's Eve celebration with your families and friends!! ^o^
Sa minna-sama, 2009 isshou ni ganbarimashou! YOSH!! *smiles*
