Blackout!

so on aug 14/2003, power for the region of southern ontario and the state of new york. i was at home on the computer when this happen. moksbaby was at fairview library when it happened. since we still wanted to celebrate our anniversary, we still got in the car and headed north to davis dr. thinking that it was a local thing. so we headed to greg's restaurant however when we got there they had no electricity and we found out electricity was out throughout the eastern seaboard and on top of all that, we had very little gas! ... we didn't have enough gas to go home so we headed to moksbaby's brother's house at major mac and spent the night there. we bbq burgers and hot dogs for dinner and then went for a walk. after the walk, everyone was very tired and went to bed. the next morning, power came back on at 5am, however, we stayed due to the lack of power back home in scarborough and north york. we played mahjong all afternoon and finally went home a little after 6pm.

beach volleyball tournament tomorrow morning. gotta rest!
