A walk.
Today I went for a walk with Babs and Christopher. We saw a hawk, very up close. She saw him first and stopped me and whispered "Emilie! Owl!" and I was all "are you sure that's an owl? The head's not the right shape." And then almost in unison, "That's not an owl; that's a hawk!" We must've been 20-30 feet away. He was just hangin out on a low branch. Big fucker. Probably as big-bodied as the baby. I've never seen one up that close before. He just hung out for a while, then flew off. We also saw a lady walking two dogs. Well, she was walking the boxer, and the boxer had a leash in his mouth. He was walking the whippet. We both wished we'd had cameras.
It's not the first time I've seen a dog walking another dog, but I think it was Barb's. It was still funny to see.
Today, I got paid. Well, really, I'm just holding money for other people at this point. Three different paychecks, and none of it's mine. siiiiiigh.
