October is here!....plus, new reviews on my blog
It's finally October 1st! Yay! Yes I did just check the weather report and see that it's supposed to be 90 degrees today, but after that I saw that it's supposed to cool right back down so I'm okay. This can be the hottest day of the month, I'm okay with that.
My friend and I went Halloween shopping yesterday. Well technically she went shopping and I went looking as my budget is really tight right now. But in a couple weeks all should be much better in that area so I'm already planning this year's Halloween party. Since Halloween is on a Saturday night this year, I want it to be bigger than ever. In addition to throwing candy off the balcony to eager trick or treaters and going on a tour of all the haunted houses, etc in my neighborhood, I also want have a dance party afterwards. I'm thinking if I call it a "Zombie Dance Party" that will get people more excited about it.
Other Halloween activities planned for the month are....going to a pumpkin patch, picking out pumpkins and carving them with my friend - going to Unversal Halloween Horror Nights with anyone brave enough to go with me - going all out on decorating the apartment and balcony - going to Disneyland with a bunch of friends, seeing it decorated for the season, riding in the Haunted Mansion and watching the Halloween themed fireworks show - trying out a couple of recipes for pumpkin spice cupcakes, etc that I found online.
Basically I'm gonna do everything I can think of to celebrate my favorite holiday of the year.
And of course keep up with my blogs and fanfics.
