Translating stuff is always good practice. (Hell, I practice by translating KHR raws when I don't want to do homework.) That reminds me that should start translating that KHR novel chapter focused on Xanxus. =_=;;
The only closest kanji I checked is 慣らす"narasu" which translate to "accustom". Not sure if that helps or not.
I have class until 2:30, but I have to do a practice session for a performance for a class I'm starting to hate. I have no idea how long it'll take. =_=;
Oh, boo. I have nothing to do all that day (well, technically, I should be studying since our final is Thursday, BUT /bad student), and...hurr I still haven't been to Osaka like a loser.
How could you not go to Osaka yet? You're missing out on Den Den town, the Jump store, the pokemon center...O_O I go to Kyoto every week (well because of shamisen practice and raiding the Animate store over there. Ha ha.)
XDDD You're lucky there's one in Umeda, where the Jump Store is. XD
Damn. That does suck. But after going to Akihabara, it's just not the same anymore. XD I curse the one in Hirakata for selling the phone strap with Xanxus's tail/feathers hair decoration that I now have on my phone.
Now I am curious. Though the most expensive official KHR merchandise I've see so far were the Vongola Rings from the Jump Store, approx. $80.
Because they are insanely evil and kanji saves up text space? I've seen certian quiz shows that have section on reading kanji and these people get like 100+ kanji correct while I'm going "How the hell do you know this?!"
I've seen my share of those too. Next to quiz shows up here, I love watching any show that involves food and cooking. One of my friends commented that Japan has mastered the art of "food porn", which I totally agree with. XD
Oh god I know. All the food on TV looks flipping amazing. And it's like, if they're not doing stupid shit, they're doing things with food. Occasionally, they're doing stupid shit with food.
But seriously, if you can find out about what time you'd be free, let me know. :3

Translating street names can be tough.

As for the Xanxus chapter: yes. Yes you should. 8D

Double checked my DS dictionary and the one on my comp. Now I'm going WTF about that kanji. O_o; I should ask one of my Chinese friends.

You're in Osaka, yes?
What are you doing Wednesday?

Yep, Hirakata side.

When I was in Kyoto, we were wandering Teramachi, but the Animate store wasn't open yet. I was so sad.

Oh god I dropped like $60 on KHR merch in ONE STORE in Akihabara.
Reply
Good god, $60 at ONE STORE? Don't get me started on all the doujins at Comic City I bought. I might've spent $100 there myself.

ONE STORE. The most expensive part were the giant uh...fuck I don't even know what they were called, but those alone were like $40.
Oh my god game, why did you just use the kanji for きれい. Why would you do that.

They're like giant bromides? There were 16 of them in the box.
I watched one where they were getting a lot of the kanji wrong. It made me feel less hopeless.
