Friday night was the kickoff event for the Third Annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival - Cassandra Wilson at Rockefeller Chapel, with the Kenwood Academy Chorus (Kenwood is public magnet school). Awesome! This was the only ticketed event; all else was free.

Did I ever tell you how much i love your posts?

Well, I do!

Will be in Chicago for a day and night in a couple of weeks. Jason and I are flying in from San Francisco together, arriving late evening Friday 16th. A very long Friday for me!

Saturday to play with the kids, maybe do stuff, then I pick up my car and I'm off down to Texas to see TW before swinging north for the KC thing.

Kerri allowed me a short there-and-back trip.
