Sports in the D!

Sports in the D....no I'm not talking about the Red Wings although they did just win the Presidents trophy. I'm acvtually talking about Sports at Wayne. Lately there has been a group of us that have been pretty hell bent to get outstide. It's like this, we have long breaks in between class and Wind Symphony. So we have played ultimate Frisbe in front of Old Main. We have played football infront of Old Main (4 on 4). Which brings me to my next question...How do you decide when it's half time when playing football in front of Old Main? Is it A. When we get tired, B.When someone has class and we don't have enough people to play, or C. When a bum stops your game and keeps asking for money and delays the game five minutes. You already know the answer is C. He asked us for change until someone gave him 1.25 which just opened the flood gates for more begging. The Dialoge went like this..... "Oh come on that guy gave me some money why can't you." "You already got money from that guy and I have none....." "Well I didn't get any from you yet"

Then there is the kicker....City Golf. We busted out the sand wedges(dont ask me how all three of us just happened to have our golf clubs with us) and went out to a field/yard right outstide a closed down building (forest apt) and picked stuff in the yard to aim for and went nuts. There were three of us and we just took turns picking. Yes everything was a target from the top of the picnic table to the bush on the other side of the yard to the boarded up window.

That was a lot of fun until Wayne State police/rent-a-cop came by. He just pulled up rolled down his window and just stared. To break the silence my buddy thougt he would just tell him that we were done.

Brian- Oh sorry sir we didn't think it would be a problem beucase everythign is abandoned.

Cop- ...........(silence)

Brian- Ok were gonna get outta here ok?

Cop- ............

Brian- Well ok were gonna go (starts to walk away)

Cop- .............
c
The cop was parked there till we walked out of the yard/field, and put our clubs away. I put my club in my friends car becuase i did't want to have to walk by the cop lol. This is the best part of the story...We are walking back to Old Main and the cop pulls aside us and honks his horn to talk to us. The first thing he says is "Where do you normally go to play golf..." I'm like "that was the first time weve done that I swear." Turns out he wanted to know where we golf.....That cop definitly redeemed his coolness.
Well that's all for this rediculousy long update.....
