I guess I had to leave eventually.
So I'm back. Here's an outline of the journey:
2 hour bus ride from Tokorozawa station to Narita Airport
3 hours of waiting before my flight
12 hours of flying
6 hours of layover in Newark
3 hour flight to West Palm
45 minute drive back home
I also time-traveled (left Narita at 4:35PM, arrived in Newark at 4:30PM the same day!), so it really felt like an eternity.
It goes without saying that the trip was fucking amazing and the most important experience of my life. It repeat what I told someone earlier, if I had to sum it up in one word, I'd say it was "moving". Both in the emotional sense and also because I had to walk a lot.
Anyway, I'll be visiting you all soon with presents. Unlike Santa Claus I won't be trespassing, but I will be fat, jolly, and ride a sled over to your house. You'll know I'm coming when you hear jingle bells.
