I was debating on whether to represent the USA or China. Sure I am born and raised American but I'm undoubtedly also Chinese despite only stepping on Chinese soil to race an Ironman here and again. :P Think of all the media attention I would get!! Maybe I would even get invited to the press conference??
Alas I decided to represent the USA. I'm not sure the Chinese government would want me. They already have like over half a billion women to make into Ironman champions.
in other news I saw Macca's race report on Xtri, where he calls Singapore "a very hot, humid race." AHA! is that why everyone melted on the run and I was able to run really close to all the other pro chicks' run splits? Boss Coach said to get a run PR in those conditions was really good...and to think I didn't find it so hot or humid. PROGRESS :D
